Once a month, typically on the third Saturday, experience a modern adaptation of the ancient meditative practice of Yoga Nidra at Ahimsa Oak Park. Prop yourself up with bolsters and blankets and be led back home to your authentic ground of being.
Yoga Nidra is a form of self-inquiry that research shows to reduce insomnia, anxiety, depression, addiction, and PTSD. An intention will be formed for the practice that will bring you into harmony.
Lindsay will guide you through this meditative experience while your body rests comfortably in savasana (final resting pose.) Even if you fall asleep, all layers of your being are reaping enormous benefits.

About our presenter:
Lindsay Lempa Aldape is passionate about sharing the practice of yoga with her students. She is guided by the ethical principles of yoga and continues to deepen her knowledge with the study of yoga philosophy.
She began her teaching journey over ten years ago, completing her 200 hr at the rigorous Moksha Yoga Center. She has gone on to train with Global Family Yoga, specializing in the therapeutic application of yoga for children.
She is a certified iRest® Meditation Teacher, which is a trauma informed meditation with foundations in both non-dualism and clinical psychology. Lindsay believes the healing power of yoga has the ability to change the world. S
